Question About Sharp Clock SPC900

Signal Strength Indicator: The signal indicator wave segment is not shown. Also my system lacks the 915 MHZ Thermo Sensor which I found in La Crosse technology TX21U-IT. Does this affect the Signal Strength Indicator which is used by WWVB for time clock. Thank you very much for your rapid assistance.
