Remote function

The owner's manual I received with the unit gives very limited information. I requested the unit I bought be able to leave the vehicle runing when the key was removed, it dosn't. Also I don't know what the button on the windshield antenna does.

    I believe this can help. After you start the vehicle press the buttons on the keypad which enable your remote start. wait a moment. then remove your key.

    the button on the antenna is a programming button also the vehicle will stay running as long as from the time the vehicle is started with the remote to the time you remove the key, the brake has not been touched
