To exit the Demo Mode
Press any one of the following buttons: A, B, C , or D.
To enter the Demo Mode
In the Timekeeping Mode, hold down the C button for about three
seconds until the watch beeps.
Demo Display
Your watch is set to its Demo Mode at the factory. The Demo
Mode causes the watch to cycle through various display modes
automatically.
Normal button operation is not possible while the watch is in the
Demo Mode. Auto receive is disabled in the Demo Mode.

The module number is engraved on the back cover of the watch
case.
The watch will revert to the Timekeeping Mode automatically if
you leave it in the Alarm Mode or Hand Setting Mode without
performing any operation for about two or three minutes.
All display examples shown here use Module 4312. The module
number is engraved on the back cover of the watch case.

Switching between Display Screens
Pressing the button switches between the
month/day and hour/minute screens.
World Time Mode

Hand Setting Mode
Alarm Mode
World Time lets you display
the current time in any one of
48 cities (29 time zones)
around the world.
The Timer Mode lets you set
a start time of up to 60
minutes, in 1-minute steps.
An alarm sounds for 10
seconds when the end of the
countdown is reached.
Use the Alarm Mode to set
the alarm, and to turn the
hourly time signal on and off.
Use the Hand Setting Mode
to synchronize the analog
time with the digital time.

Stopwatch Mode
The stopwatch measures
elapsed time in units of 1/100
second up to 59 minutes,
59.99 seconds (60 minutes).

2. Press the

times so the seconds are
flashing.
The seconds start to flash
on the display.
3. Press the

B button to
toggle the illumination
duration between 1.5
seconds ( ) and 2.5
seconds ( ).
4. When the setting is the way you want, press the
AA

A
button to exit the setting screen.
The display also will exit the setting screen automatically if you
do not perform any operation for about two or three minutes.
Illumination
In any mode (except when a setting screen is on the display),
press the B button to illuminate the display for easy reading in
the dark.
You can specify 1.5 seconds or
2.5 seconds as the duration of
display illumination.
Important!
Illumination may be difficult to see under bright sunlight.
Illumination will turn off if you press any button that sounds a
confirmation tone or if an alarm sounds.
Illumination will not turn on while manual receive is in progress.
To specify the illumination duration
1. In the Timekeeping Mode
hold down the
AA
AA
A button
for about two seconds
until the transmitter
selection mode setting
flashes on the display.
The currently selected city
code will be flashing on the
display.
