We have an Amana Soft sound II (E39927) LR111720 For some reason it won't latch when we try to close it. Do you know what the problem is?

0         Had the same issue, dug a little, and found out my handle broke.  It's a pretty easy fix.  http://www.appliancepartspros.com/whirlpool-dishwasher-door-latch-w10130695-ap4264081.html
