the temperature in both the fridge and freezer had risen. I thought it may be thermostat but a friend told me if its both then cant be this. the compressor felt warm/ hot. returned from work 12 hours later and it only feels slight warm. There is a white box next to the compressor with a pop out plastic cover and a adjuster screw inside but dont know what this is? Took the wiring cover off the side of the compressor to check for broken wires but all appears good. Please help with any ideas.
