Our dishwasher won't turn on. I'm wondering if there is some sort of child lock or delayed start option that has been engaged accidentally?

0 Good Morning kbelanger, that’s a great question! I see that your Frigidaire dishwasher is not turning on and you think child lock or delayed start is engaged. On your control panel you should notice a padlock symbol, if it is lite up you should be able to hold down the heat dry button for three to five seconds. If that does not help correct your issue I would recommend performing a reset on your dishwasher and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. This should clear out any miscommunications within your control panel. I hope this information has been helpful. –OOS

0 I know this blog page is old but i really hope someone sees this because... I just had the exact same problem as KBelanger. First I tried to turn off the lock but that didn't work. Then I turned the power off to the kitchen (dishwasher), waited for 10 minutes,  then LO AND BEHOLD the dishwasher turned right on like nothing ever happened!!!!! Whaaaat?! I'm not usually one to blog or leave my comments on items I buy but I just had to say something this time. So... Online Outreach SPC whoever you are... THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! You just saved me a lot of time, frustration and money!!! I still can't believe it, you taught me something today for sure. In a world where things seem to be going wrong all around you and nothing works like it should because it was made in China, it sure is good to see someone like you helping people out! I salute you sir (or ma'am), you have earned my respect! BRAVO ZULU!
