Question About GE Iron 169021
Iron won't heat up...

The iron will not get warm when plugged in. It turns on and then after selecting the temperature setting (material) the selection flashes for about 45 seconds. Then all of the settings begin to flash. The iron never heats up.

5 I have exactly the same problem. The menu flashes and the iron does not heat. The manual is not yet listed, here. GE Answer Center advised buying a new iron. http://www.Gehousewares.com/Contact_Us.aspx 1.877.207.0923 (US) (printed on the iron) 8 am - 4:30 pm EST M-F

0 I have exact same issue. Sounds as if this model is all -around defective with an issue G.E. should address.

0 Fixing the same iron for my aunt. opened and did a proper inspection and testing. Turns out it just blew the thermal fuse located at the bottom. Good Iron, but a crap ass fuse.  Looking for a new set online usually they're cheap; of course GE will recommend a new one jackasses
