1 Same drill bought 6/9/2014 at Harbor Freight and same symptom. After a few hours both lights still on and battery reached 131 degrees F. I unplugged and returned to store. Replacement did the same.

0 Same thing happened to me. If it's an old drill like mine, it's likely the batteries are worn out. If you have the skills, you can re-wire it for MORE POWER!!! This is NOT MY VIDEO, I found it on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXqGcQWJGrk
