kirklands signature pre-lit tree is not coming apart how do i take it apart?

0 Just had the same problem...from the bottom, the separation point is just above the 3rd row (or pair) of branch brackets. I pried on both sides with a screw driver to get it started coming apart, then 2 of us yanked it apart. Hope this helps.
