0 As well, I acquired this used router with no manual; however, upon looking at the router, you’ll see a slot near the top, and if you have a peek down there, you’ll see the shaft with two opposing flats. I took an old router wrench (same thickness) and cut/filed the end with the small hole, to fashion a ‘U-shaped’ wrench. It worked just fine to hold the shaft while adding/removing bits.
