5 We bought a piece of heavy plastic tubing with a clamp that fit perectly over the elbow. Unfortunately, there is also a opening on the right side of the humdifier when you remove the bucket, where the water is now funneling to, filling the bucket. It seems to be filling just as fast as if we had no hose on the left elbow, so I don't see how this will help us go long term without having to empty the bucket. Have you had this second drainage spot too ? If so, can we plug it to prevent the drainage?

4 There's a knockout in the back of the unit. If it came with an adapter, slide it through the hole and onto the small elbow above the bucket. Hook a short hose to it and run it to a drain or sump. If no adapter, you can use a tight-fitting hose and a hose clamp. The bucket needs to be in.

0 If I had an adapter at one time, it is nowhere to be found now. Thanks for the tip. I will try the hose clamp

0 Make sure the hose is a pretty tight fit. The hose clamp may require you to notch out the back of the bucket, but don't go too deep (since the bucket catches overflow). Be aware that the hose and/or drain elbow get plugged with debris and need to be cleaned (not an easy task). I've used heavy weedwhacker line.

0 The second one is the overflow (note that it has a little shoulder on it). If the unit is level, and the elbow is clear, there should be no water going into the overflow. Make sure there's no debris in the elbow (it's an awful design that you can't get to the top of it to clean it out).

0 Thanks for the manual. I think we have it working well now. The clear hosing we bought was at the end of the roll, making itvery hard to straighten out. Once we did do that, the water is going into the hose and into the drain. Thank you again for your help
