5 I have found the answer with the help of a parts diagram: Unscrew 5 screws from underneath the base of the machine. Then open up the lid and take the bread pan out. Unscrew all the 8 screws at the bottom of the baking well (bread pan chamber), located next to the walls. Also undo the screw holding the looped section of heating element (opposite from where the element rods enter the chamber). Pull the baking well wall slowly and carefully upward until it comes away from the bread machine. You now have a clear view of the inside of the machine. Along the inside of the plastic cowl, there are clip-tags that secure the cowl to the base of the machine. Use a screw-driver to un-clip these, and pull the cowl slowly up and away from the rear, until you can clearly see a strip of wires leading from the computer pc board to the control panel. Undo this strip from the pc board by releasing the clip at the end with a screw-driver and gently easing the strip away away from the board. Now you can completely remove the plastic cowl. Locate and unscrew 7 screws from the metal plate that forms the floor of of the baking chamber, and remove the plastic bottom section of the of the bread machine. You now have access to the drive pulleys, drive belt and other parts. The agents have a diagram showing the parts in "exploded" view (see appended picture).
