I have a Nesco deep fryer..DF1241. The cord gets… so hot where it plugs to the wall you cant touch it. I've had it for years, so wondering if the cord needs replaced? Fryer works great and never noticed this

i am making the corned beef & cabbage recipe but… have a 4.5 # corned beef. The cook time for a 2-2.5 # roast is 3-4 hrs. How much time is required for a 4.5 # roast?
