Question About Philips Cordless Telephone CD240
'Warning' flashing continuously on display...

The handset suddenly stopped working - no dialling tone and no response to any key press (long or short) and removing/replacing betteries will not clear it. Is there any way to make the handset operational again?

4 Taking the batteries out for 10 minutes then fitting them again fixed this.
