Whenever i Turn on my Samsung Home Theater SystemI have about 10 to 15 minutes to enjoy it because on the screen of the box it says Protection and then shuts down. It was working fine when i bought it but now i dont know what happened? Any Help or suggestion you might have pleas right back, thanx.

5 In mine one of output filter capacitor got broken - it had a crack on its body. Replacement of the capacitor fixed the shutdown on protection. Another question is what damaged the cap. Most likely there was a design mistake. I consider placement of the capacitors as a possible problem - they are too close to the output inductors. Anyway you can look at my solution - I posted it.

4 When ever i turn on my home theatre system, it goes off automatically after 10 seconds. but before it go off it will write "PROT" i need a solution to the problem

3 All of a sudden, after a year of no problems..the HT X40 keeps shutting off after around 5-20 minutes of viewing. It says 'PROTECTION' and then powers down. SO annoying. Can anyone help?
