Question About Sharp SPC364
My unofficial instruction and warranty page...

The link below will take you to my unofficial instruction and warranty page for the Sharp Atomic Clock model SPC364. I own one of these clocks and temporarily lost the instructions for it. Searching the Internet for a copy produced next to nothing. When I finally found my copy of the instructions, I decided to create this page as a project to exercise my web development skills and fix this oversight.

5 Well, whoda thoughdit... It took four presses of two of the buttons on the back to change the time zone to Central from Pacific. Obviously more or less depending upon the preferred zone. 1=mode, 2=set, 3=set, 4=mode Piece of cake!

5 I could only find a "Sharp technician" who would give me the instructions for $24. Trying to get anything from Sharp was a waste of time. I cannot thank you enough for giving us your "unofficial instruction" info. This is a truly kind gesture and a huge help.

4 Thank you sooo much! I've owned this clock for a year & travel with it all the time in different time zones. It's a great little clock with the time zone map.... until you push a wrong button! Your directions saved me from frustration to get it back on the correct time zone! Thanks again... I have this page bookmarked now on my travel laptop!

4 this clock is "PRESET" for "DST", and no way to change it... EXAMPLE: Mountain standard Time: Instructions: http://home.comcast.net/~mark.flint/spc364/ -- To keep Time from changing every 24 hours.. Do the following: * Set first to "Mountain Time".. **Set to "Pacific Time" *begins at 2 AM on the second Sunday in March and** ends at 2 AM on the first Sunday in November. Hope this helps..

4 Just the thought of doing what helps others is greatly appreciated. If others have manuals being sought and not being traced they shouold also do the same. Is the manufacturer of Sharp Atomic Clocks the same large multinational Sharp of Japan?

3 My clock lost the time. I have the instructions packed away. Would take an hour, or more, to find and a whole lot of frustration. This fixed my problem . Also I've had it sitting next to my laptop for 2 years. Never knew it was supposed to be at least 8 feet away. No wonder it lost time and would not auto-set. Thanks a bunch!
