Question About Snapper Trimmer s31sst
starter rope replacement...

I understand you have to remove the plastic housing in order to restring the starter rope. The only thing standing in my way at this point is the Coupling drive connector. What is the best way to remove it.

4 remove the spark plug, fill the engine cylinder by threading your old starter rope thru the spark plug hole. turn the cable shaft coupling counter clock wise using a 16mm wrench
