how do I change to MPH from KPH? Has stopped… accumulating "Distance" though speedometer and cadence meter are working fine?

I have a speedzone sport cyclocomputer. However… , it does not say how to shut it down so the battery will not die. Mine has a mode button on one side and a function button on the other side. Help!
