This is a totally different type of pressure cooker than the old mirro I had for years that had a round 5-10-15 weight that sat in the middle of the lid and jiggled. My husband got custody of the microwave and I got the dog and cat - someone just gave me this like new pressure cooker but I rreally would like to know more about it before I try using it.
