I can't find a manual for my Vivitar DVR 960HD camera anywhere. It appears I am not the only one. I just purchased it and it come with bare minimum of info. What does the HDMI port do? Is it just an out or can I use it to record video directly to my computer? My unit came with an external microphone as well. There is a port on the back of the camera labeled AVOUT. That is the only port that accepts the external mic connection. Where is the input for the external mic?
