I took this pieace if **** Apart not knowing you could open the belt clip to insert the battery. There is a little pieace that has two hole in it one bigger than the other and it has two tabs pointing straight out how is this dumb ass thing supposed to go!

0 It is just to guard the 9v battery from the top, just place it on top of the 9V then close the stud finder again.
