My Burnham Series 2 has suddenly decided to randomly extinguish the flame/pilot. I replaced the thermocouple but no change. I checked the flue and it's clean, altho I don't believe the blocked flue switch kills the pilot, merely prevents the boiler from doing anything but pilot. Today I came home to find the boiler dead again, and I noticed the damper was open. This leads me to believe the boiler is dying when heating, or when attempting to fire up. I'm unsure what else could be wrong.

0 I have the same problem and was going to replace Thermocouple. I noticed yesterday that the house was cold and went to the boiler and found it off; including pilot. I reset the pilot and boiler turned on and was brought up to full pressure/heat of 180 F. Then this morning it was off and cold again. Went to light pilot again and this time it would not stay lit. Do you have a solution for this yet? Thanks, Howard 646-644-8524
