I have a Ariens Sierra 1440 H ride on mower I lost a spring on the float and the blades aren't turning can't find where the spring goes could you give me a diagram please. regards Godfrey

5 here is a pdf file of the manual for your mower. Page 27 shows the 2 springs for hydro neutral adjustment.
