I have only had my Atlantis Multimedia System Vide...

I have only had my Atlantis Multimedia System Video Output for iPod for about only two years and haven't used it for a year, why won't it turn on even when i plug it in or change the batteries?

0 I had to change the power adapter, the system functions but the light on the display is dimmed.
