I bought a new aurora cross cut 6 page shredder. ...

I bought a new aurora cross cut 6 page shredder. The shredder runs great. the only problem is I am not able to feed paper into the cutter it appears to have some kind of plastic tray blocking the cutter heads. How do I remove this plastic tray without braking something?
