5 The problem might not be with the replaced arm and the lids, as they have nothing to do with the heating component rather; two major problems are as highlighted (i) The appliance is not properly plugged into a standard polarized outlet with 120V power, the heating effect will not be there. (ii) The element or the thermostat are not functioning well hence; result of the defects manifests as the not-steaming problem. The following constitutes the minor causes as follows: (i) The bowl lid and/or the bowl are not correctly attached. (ii) The round steam button is not pressed or not accurately pressed. (iii) There is no water in the steam heating compartment. The solution to the problem is to properly plug the appliance into a standard polarized outlet with 120V power. The replacement of the element or the thermostat, either of the two that is diagnosed nonfunctional as the major causes, and compliance with the minor causes.
