My AC mode on BEKO doesn't work. I can turn it on ...

My AC mode on BEKO doesn't work. I can turn it on and off, and change mode functions with the remote, adjust the temp, but it is only blowing as a fan. What can be causing this? Is there a chance it was installed incorrectly? This is brand new, can you help me understand what can be causing this?
