Question About Bemis Manufacturing Humidifier H12 400
I was left Bemis humidifiers model number 826 800 ...

I was left Bemis humidifiers model number 826 800 with my new house. When I plug it in after filling it the empty light is on and nothing happens when I try to turn it on. Did the former owners leave me broken humidifiers ? Thank you for your response.
