How do you drain the water and rad to flush out and clean, on a yanmar diesel 18-50 Countax

5 Safety first the engine must be cool to prevent scalding. You will need a can to collect waste. Turn the radiator cap counter clockwise 90 degrees. Disconnect the rubber hose between the coolant tank pump. Then drain radiator into the waste can reconnect the coolant hose. Add coolant while pinching coolant rubber hose to bleed air. Fill coolant midrange between low and high level. Operate the engine at no load about 5 minutes checking for leakage. Now check the sub tank and add coolant as need midrange between high and low.
