5 the green light is supposed to flash when the 2 electric eyes do dot see each other. first check eyes, green lights should be lit on both. if not, try adjusting until both are green. the door will still open and close as long as you are depressing button for entire length of travel. if your scenario is different you control board is most likely faulty! by the way, that is not correct model number. you can order board directly from sears rarts. easy job!!
