I have a dayton hanging furnace 3E403B. The pilot lights and stays lit, the fan kicks on when the thermostat calls for heat, but the main burners won't ignite.

0 I have the 3E402D and had the same issue. Turn the power off, you don't have to shut off the gas, and there is a "Blocked Vent Shutoff (Spill) Switch" button that needed to be reset. Mine was located on the upper left side near the front of the unit, behind a little pivoting metal "door". Sticking my finger through that "door" access, feel for a button and press it in to reset. With mine, after maybe 15-30 seconds, I'd hear a click from the unit. Then, I turn the power back on and the burners will ignite (if T-stat calls for heat on).
