Hi one of my hob plates gets extremely hot and doesn't adjust downwards when I reduce the setting ie the temperature control doesn't seem to work. I changed the actual plate and the problem still persists. What could be he issue and how do I fix it. Is there a thermostat for each plate and is this part of the control mechanism I haven't changed?
