I had the Dometic recall done several months ago. When the unit quit working, I traced out the schematic, checked line (input) voltages AC/DC and fuses. All OK. Picked up replacement controller circuit board from Campin World and was in the process of confirming which spade contacts are used for my refer model when I came across a "thermal switch" which is attached to the exhaust stack. It's not in the schematic. The switch was popped, but is resettable. It seems to pop quite readily, within minutes of firing the unit back up. Doesn't matter if I select AC or gas. Same results. I bypassed the switch and tried it for several hours. The temp at the AC heater varies between 240 and 260 F. When on gas, temp at same spot is a few degrees lower. Although it stays lit, the freezer now gets hot instead of cold, same for the lower part. My unit doesn't have a user adjustable thermostat, so I presume the temp is non adjustable? Any advice on troubleshooting/ repairing is appreciated.
