5 If you have the original remote you can learn the function with the universal remote by pointing them towards each other. Each remote has a specific way of saving functions. Alternatively, you can try scanning the remote and experimenting with the preset codes until one if them holds the function for adjusting and enlarging the screen resolution. Or finding the code which holds the functions for the menu option. Then using the menu to adjust the resolution. What universal remote and what tv model?
