Question About Emprex Flat Panel Television None
Where to buy power supply board...

My TV died. Had it diagnose by a local repair shop. Was told the power supply is dead. Where can I buy the parts? Is there an equivalent so I can purchase from Partstore? Thank you.

0 I have been an electronics technician for quite some time. The power suppyl is probably a switching power suppy; I am familiar with these. A schematic may be available through the library. Ask for Sam's Photofax for your model. If the library will not provide it, my skills may be enough to find the defective parts, in retrun for a copy of the schematic and the owner's manual, if you have one. I live in Vista.

0 I have the same problem with the same TV.  After searching online I found out that it's a problem with the capacitors on the power supply board.  Of the 11 1000uf 16v capacitors, 4 of mine had bulging tops and were leaking slightly.  I ordered a pack of 20 new ones from Amazon for $3.00 and they just arrived today so hopefully i'll be able to replace the bad ones on the TV soon.
