How can i determine why the blower is not coming on (furnace and ac work except for blower) Checked capacitor it is good. Suspect board, but the red light shows "normal operation" signal. safety and limit switches and wires seem ok, checked with meter.

5 There are a couple of possibilities. Make sure your unit is asking for cooling. Take a reading with your meter at the Circut Board between Red and Green.(Where the thermostat wire come in.) If you get 24 volts there then the T-stat is bad and is not calling for the Motor. If you get 0 volts then we move on to the board. On the Board there will be some sort of designation that assigns the Primary voltage such as "LINE" or "High Voltage" . It will be a Black wire. Take a Jumper wire and connect this black wire to the BLACK wire on the Blower Motor. You are simply bypassing the Board to troubleshoot the Motor. If the motor fires up then the motor is good and the Board is toast. But if the motor does not fire up, then the motor is bad. It may hum, struggle to turn, get hot orall of the above.
