i cant adjust the tv volume with the remote after ...

i cant adjust the tv volume with the remote after i removed my surround sound system. i unplugged the tv for a few minutes and then when turned it back on it goes right to the internet connection screen of the system setup and will not go past it and the wireless connection is already established and says connected on the screen.
