Just purchased new TV, when turned on, I get the following message on the screen: There is no device connected to TV! Two devices are connected, 1) CATV and 2) Component video (blue/green/red). Menu button on back of TV does nothing, the only button that works is the power button.

3 Same with mine. Lost remote and can't find a replacement anywhere. The only way to get that off the screen is to have the remote. This sucks!!!

2 I'm having the same issue. it's not such a problem when you have the remote but as I cannot find it well...... it's just stuck like that and I don't know what to do.

1 I had the same issue and was able to fix it by programming a different remote to my Hisense tv. I will admit that the GE universal remote did not work, but my Tivo remote did the job perfectly. With a Tivo remote, you cover the fron of the remote with your hand while holding down the Tivo and "input" buttons at the same time until the amber light comes on. you then enter 0999, the light will blink. Point the remote at your tv and push the"channel up" button every 2 seconds. You will see the input options window appear, you then push "enter". You are now good to go. Just hit the "input" button again until you arrive where you want to be. Cheers!
