I clean my humidifier HWM340 everyday as per instructions. It now has a rather heavy build up on the heating element how can I remove this buildup. I must add that this product is as advertised works great

5 Pour a small amount of CLR into the humidifier covering the element. This will clear all the hard water build up after about 5 minutes with no scrubbing or work at all. Then make sure you rinse thoroughly before reuse. Any strong liquid cleaner will work, but CLR is easy on the plastic body.
