The Main Oven Neon light is staying on even when I...

The Main Oven Neon light is staying on even when I turn off the oven...AND the heating element is still heating the oven, even though I have turned everything OFF! There is, however, no noise of the fan during this time. Help??? As I have had to turn off my cooker to ensure that it does not stay ON permanenty and using up expensive electricity.
