The red light showing a burner is on stays lit and won't shut off. Is this a fire hazard? Why is this issue not in the troubleshooting section of the manual?

0 The manual doesn't even show what the red light is for, but I know it lights up when the burners or oven is turned on. Why have a red light if you can't explain what it is used for?
