im trying to find the manual for a1950 hudson comm...

im trying to find the manual for a1950 hudson commodore 6 engine so that i can see if the distributor is attached to any gears. when i bought the car i was told the distributors gear was broken. i pulled it out but there arent any gears at the end of the shaft. thanks for your help
