Question About Ionic Pro Air Cleaner S1830

I am having a issue with my ionic breeze air_purifier. I cleaned it and now it is hissing. I unplugged to reset but it will not stop the sound, the main light only comes on at random. Please help. I have taken all steps in the cleaning process. Don't know what is going on. Thank you Lisa
