Which video and audio formats do portable DVD players recognize and play correctly? Need details of video encoding, and such to convert my videos to play on my portable player. On the player it is printed DVD video MPEG4 video with multiaudio and DIVX. Have tried mp4 and divx encoding and also changing the extensions to .mpeg, though with .mpeg extensions the files were recognized, they did not play though the device seems to begin something. My device has an optical disc reader and a USB. Thank YOU.
