My jabra extreme headset has stopped communicating...

My jabra extreme headset has stopped communicating with my hiawai android phone. I have owned it for at least 6 months. I attempted to reset the bluetooth. That did not work. Then I removed it from the phone. The phone discovered it but has a screen that says it cannot communicate with it. Help!
