Kenmore model 85501 plasma air filter unit. The device will come on normally but after about 15 seconds it the lights will flicker and it will go into turbo mode. The lights will go off and the power switch fails to work. Only way to stop it is to unplug it. Appears to be a short somewhere or faulty circuit
