How do I defeat the alarm clock function?...

I have the manual, and I can set the alarm to go off at any time in the 24 hours, but I cannot set it to NOT make the alarm to go off. I cannot find how to turn off the alarm anywhere in the manual. Please tell me how I can defeat the alarm clock... It goes off every 24 hours. Thank you for your help.
