I have a Majestic UVLC24RP vent free gas log set. ...

I have a Majestic UVLC24RP vent free gas log set. I can light the pilot and the pilot stays ON after releasing the pilot button. BUT when I turn the switch to the ON position, the pilot goes out. The main burner and remote switch are both set to OFF during this procedure. Any idea what is wrong? The unit worked fine at the end of last winter season.
