THE "PRODUCT TYPE "FIELD WILL NOT LET ME CHOOSE, NEVER-MIND IT IS WORKING NOW, EVEN THOUGH I DID CHOOSE "MANUFACTURER" FIRST TO BEGIN WITH ANYWAYS.... I have been trying to redo a bathroom on a slim budget and I bought this wall heater for 20$ at a local warehouse everything appeared to be there except knob and screws, bought another one and used its screws and knob. It is all wired up correctly. black (unit) to my black wire (supply) red (unit) to my white (supply) and green (unit) to my bare (supply). Heater comes on and about minute later red light comes on and heat goes off. Fan doesn't kick on either. Why does red light come on? Is there a problem with one or more of the integral parts? Information and list of/for replacement parts nice to have. This is a wall heater 120 volt although it can be wired up for 240 volt, but I would like to prefer to keep it 120 volt, there is only 120 volt supply running to room and no 240 wire avail to run to this bathroom.
