5 This problem is most likely caused by a broken sheer pin. Go to your local hardware store or anywhere that sells Parts for small engines such as a snow blower and they should be able to give you a new one. I would not recommend putting a bolt in its place as the steel may be stronger than the sheer pin and instead of the bolt breaking, you could actually Bend the auger it self. If you are not familiar with the mechanics, It would be a cheap fix in a small engines shop. Hope this helps!
